Fought Proudly Hosts Students from Silverton High School Metal Fabrication Program.

Portland, Oregon

Fought & Company was honored to host a shop tour for students from Silverton High School’s Metal Fabrication program last month. The tour gave students an overview of the various types of projects we run through our production facility. During their visit, Fought was actively fabricating steel members for Concourse E as part of the passenger balancing and expansion at Portland International Airport.

Fought shop tours provide students exposure and insight into our industry. For those students who are interested in pursuing a career in structural steel fabrication it’s a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes. Shop tours are beneficial to both Fought and students. Students walk away better educated about our company and our industry. For Fought it’s an opportunity to connect with our future generation of complex steel workers.

Fought & Company would like to again thank the instructors and students of Silverton for the opportunity to host their shop tour. If your organization or program is interested in a Fought shop tour please Contact Us today.
