Fought & Company, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Wayne Searle as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective Monday, October 2, 2017.

Wayne achieves success by inspiring individuals to give their best, while appreciating and taking care of all team members.

In regards to recent initiatives driven by Wayne, all shop employees have received a raise, and we have implemented the Fought 500 program. Please see the following link for Fought 500 program details: We strongly encourage all ironworkers to join the Fought & Company, Inc. family!

Fought & Company Connects with Bridges to Prosperity

Fought & Company, Inc. was proud to select Patrick Montgomery to represent our company in the construction of a new pedestrian bridge located in El Macho, Panama, organized by Bridges to Prosperity or B2P. Bridges to Prosperity works with isolated communities to create access to essential health care, education and economic opportunities by building footbridges over impassable rivers. B2P measures success by the long lasting impact training and bridge projects have on the reduction of rural poverty due to isolation. Patrick's trip was made possible by Fought & Company, Inc., and by our partner Ironworkers Local 516. Patrick's trip to Panama lasted for a total of two weeks.

Patrick was born in 1982, in Seattle Washington and is a Pacific Northwest native. He has been an Ironworker since 1998 and is currently a 4th year (final year) Apprentice Mechanic at Fought & Company. Mechanic is our version of Fitter or Assembler and is the highest achievable level as a fabricator at Fought. Patrick fabricates high rise components and bridge girders, and completes assembly checks of bridges prior to shipment. He takes tremendous pride in his work ethic and was very excited, and grateful for the B2P opportunity.

CTEC tours Fought & Company

Students from the Commercial Manufacturing Program at The Career and Technical Education Center or CTEC, toured Fought & Company led by our President Steve Fugate. The mission of CTEC is to prepare students for high-skill, high-wage, high demand careers while developing the skills, technical knowledge, academic foundation and real-world experience to assure their success upon graduation.

Fought & Company was proud to open it's doors for instructors, and students from CTEC. They experienced a behind the scenes glimpse at one of the largest complex steel fabricators in the Pacific Northwest. In turn, we got to meet the next generation of highly skilled, career-focused workers. Coordinating with institutions like CTEC gives students real world exposure, while introducing fresh talent to our industry. Fought & Company intends to stay committed to fostering this partnership between public institutions and private enterprise.
